ETIAS for Micronesian Passport Holders

Micronesian passport holders are currently able to travel to any European country that has signed the Schengen Agreement for short stays, without the need to obtain a visa or travel authorization.

In 2025, this will change when the European Commission implements the ETIAS visa waiver program for visa-exempt nationals, to strengthen Schengen Area external borders.

ETIAS will be a travel authorization that grants holders multiple entries and permits a stay of 90 days per trip, within every 180-day period. It will permit travel for purposes of tourism, transit, business, or medical treatment.
