Visit Sierra Leone Visa Information

The Visit Sierra Leone visa (VSL) is an electronic visa announced by the government of Sierra Leone in 2019 in order to facilitate entry to the country for tourism. It was implemented in 2020.

An approved Sierra Leone visa online is a single entry eVisa. It allows the holder a single entry to the country and a stay up to 30 days.

The online Sierra Leone visa is valid for 90 days from the date of approval. It may also be extended once in the country.

To apply for an eVisa for Sierra Leone, it is simply necessary to complete the online Sierra Leone visa application. This simple form can be completed in a matter of minutes by supplying basic personal, passport, and travel information.

Applicants can then upload supporting documents in digital form and pay the eVisa fee to submit their electronic Sierra Leone visa application form. A Sierra Leone eVIsa is usually processed quickly, within 2-3 business days.

Travelers who wish to visit the country for purposes other than tourism or longer periods of stay should contact the nearest Sierra Leone embassy or consulate for further information.
