However, New Zealanders who buy a Jordan Pass can get their Jordan visa on arrival free of charge. Following the Jordan visa policy, this deal applies as long as they stay for at least 3 nights.

Requirements to Get the Jordan Pass from New Zealand

New Zealand citizens who wish to obtain the Jordan all-access tourist pass must fulfill a few basic requirements.

Applicants from New Zealand have to submit the following items to get the Jordan Pass:

  • New Zealand passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the expected date of entry into Jordan

Note: Children under the age of 12 can enter Jordan’s attractions for free, provided they have their visa and are traveling with parents who hold the Jordan Pass.

Validity of the Jordan Pass for New Zealanders

New Zealanders can visit Jordan with the Pass for up to 12 months.

The Pass can be used for 2 weeks following the first time it is scanned to visit a tourist attraction. After this, it will expire, regardless of whether 12 months have passed since it was purchased.

The visa associated with the Jordan Pass for NZ citizens is a single-entry pass and is valid to stay in Jordan for a maximum of 30 days.

Conditions before leaving Jordan as NZ citizen

Before leaving Jordan, NZ travelers must present their Jordan Pass to the border authorities so that they can check whether or not they stayed in Jordan for a minimum of 4 days (3 nights).

If the duration is below 4 days, visitors from New Zealand must pay the visa fee on departure.

Applying for the Jordan Pass from New Zealand is simple and does not require more than 20 minutes.

NZ nationals must complete a Jordan Pass online application form with basic personal data and travel details such as the following:

  • Full name
  • Gender
  • Date and place of birth
  • Country of residence
  • Country of citizenship
  • Passport number
  • Passport issuance date
  • Passport expiry date
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Other routine health-related and security-related questions are also included.

The next step is that New Zealanders pay the Jordan Pass processing fee. This can be done via a debit or credit card. It includes the cost of a tourist visa and entry to over 40 attractions in Jordan.

What to do after applying for the Jordan Pass from NZ

Once NZ passengers fill and submit the Jordan Pass application, they can expect to receive the travel permit by email in 1 to 2 business days.

The pass is available in PDF format and visitors from New Zealand can easily print the document when they travel.

The Jordan Pass allows applicants to present the QR code when they want to obtain the visa on arrival or enter an attraction.

Travelers are now able to visit the country for tourism if they have an approved Jordan Pass (easily obtained online). Passengers must complete a “Declaration Form” before departure and present the QR code on arrival. Exemptions: nationals of Jordan and their spouses and children; passengers who can get a visa on arrival; passengers with a permanent diplomatic QR code.
