These programs have been established by the governments of select countries around the world to expedite the process of obtaining travel authorization for Greek passport holders, eliminating the need to visit a government diplomatic office in person or wait in long lines to obtain a visa on arrival.

There are currently roughly 30 countries that permit nationals of Greece to obtain an electronic visa or visa waiver through an online application.

Electronic travel visa authorizations for Greek citizens may be issued for either a single entry or multiple entries and permit short stays of between 14 and 90 days depending on the destination.
