The visa policy of Gabon outlines the restrictions which determine who may enter the Central African country without a visa and who needs a visa for Gabon.
Gabonese visa policy currently states that there are under 5 countries whose citizens do not need a visa for Gabon, all nationals of other African states. These travelers are able to enter Gabon visa-free for stays between 30 and 90 days depending on their nationality by presenting a valid passport at Gabonese border controls.
Up to 150 nationalities from across the globe are able to apply for a Gabon electronic visa through a simple online application. The form only takes minutes to complete with basic personal, passport, and travel information.
Once approved, the e-Visa for Gabon is sent to the traveler by email, removing the need to visit an embassy or consulate to obtain a visa in person or endure long waits to complete a visa on arrival application at the border.
An approved Gabon e-Visa allows the holder to visit the country for tourism, business, or transit purposes. It may be granted for either a single entry or multiple entries, and for a period of validity between 1 to 6 months depending on the traveler’s needs.
