What Is the Turkey e-Visa for UAE Citizens?

The Turkey e-Visa for UAE citizens is an online electronic visa that allows holders to visit Turkey. It is obtained by applying via the internet, rather than at an embassy or consulate.

Emirati citizens must apply online to get their electronic visa for Turkey. The e-Visa application system is user-friendly and it takes a matter of minutes to fill out the online form.

Applicants from the UAE must submit the following information:

Personal details (name, date of birth, nationality, etc.)
Passport information (passport number, expiry date, etc.)
Contact details (email address, phone number, etc.)
Travel information (details of the planned visit to Turkey)

Documents Required for Turkey e-Visa for Emiratis

Emirati nationals must have the following items to hand in order to apply for a Turkey online visa:

Passport valid for a minimum of 60 days after the expiration of the visa, visa exemption or residence permit
Current email address to which the Turkey e-Visa will be delivered
Credit or debit card to cover the fee

Applicants from the UAE may also have to submit extra documents in support of their application.

The Turkey e-Visa is electronically linked to the Emirati passport registered in the application, which must also be presented at passport control when arriving in Türkiye. It is very important that all the information submitted in the e-Visa online application form matches the information on this passport.

If the registered passport is lost, stolen, damaged, or otherwise becomes invalid, the Emirati traveler will have to reapply for a new e-Visa using their new passport.

How Will I Receive my Turkey e-Visa from the UAE?

When an application for the Turkey e-Visa is approved, a link to download a copy will be sent to the email address registered in the online form.

Applicants from the UAE may click this link to print off a copy of their e-Visa for Turkey to present at passport control if needed.

If a traveler’s e-Visa is not approved, the most likely explanation is that they made a mistake when filling out the application form. Small errors and inconsistencies in the information provided can lead to the e-Visa being denied. In this case, it would be necessary to reapply.
