Israel eVisa Information

The Israel electronic visa (eVisa) is an upcoming digital entry permit that will allow international travelers to visit the country.

It will consist of an online platform, which is designed to expedite the process of applying for an Israel visa.

It will allow foreign nationals from eligible countries to complete a simple Israel visa application form from the comfort of their own homes.

This will avoid any unnecessary trips to an Israeli embassy.

The Israeli government has announced its intentions to introduce the eVisa system by spring 2022. However, few details have been released and it is currently unknown exactly when the visa will be launched.

It is likely that the new eVisa will be an online Israel tourist visa and will possibly allow entry for other purposes such as business. It may also permit transit through the country.

Most similar systems around the world do not allow foreign nationals to obtain work or residence visas online.

When it is implemented, the Israeli eVisa will most likely permit short stays in the country.

For long-term stays, it will be necessary to inquire about the relevant type of visa at an Israeli embassy or consulate.
