A New Zealand eTA application form can be completed from anywhere using only a smartphone, tablet, computer, or other internet-enabled device. The application takes less than 30 minutes to complete.
When filling out the New Zealand eTA application form, British passport holders will need to provide a few key pieces of information about themselves. Questions on the application will ask travelers for their:
- Full name (first and last name)
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Contact information (including home address and a working email address)
- Passport number
- Passport issue and expiration date
- Nationality (as noted on passport)
The application will also ask applicants about any criminal history and if they plan to seek medical treatment while in New Zealand.
Finally, travelers will need to pay the eTA fee and the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) for New Zealand, which is included in the total price.
Before submitting the form, applicants are encouraged to go through the form and double–check to make sure the information is accurate and spelled correctly. If there are any mistakes, New Zealand Immigration may deny the eTA application or it may take longer to process.
