Once Indian citizens obtain the approved eVisa, they have 2 months (60 days) to enter Laos.
There are 3 international airports in Laos that Indians can use to access the country with an eVisa:
- Luang Prabang International Airport
- Pakse International Airport
- Wattay International Airport
Indian travelers entering Laos by car or bus should note the eVisa can be used at specific points at the Boten International Checkpoint and Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge.
Once they reach any of these border crossings, they can head straight to the waiting lines for Indian arrivals holding an eVisa. This saves them time at passport controls, where they will have to submit the following for inspection:
- Passport
- Printout of their eVisa letter
- Proof of accommodation
- Proof of sufficient funds (bank statement will suffice)
Visitors from India should confirm their departure complies with the authorized 30 days on their Laos online visa.
If they encounter any unexpected situation and need to prolong their stay, they can pay a visit to the Immigration Office in Vientiane or official travel agencies and apply for an eVisa extension.
