Kuwait eVisa Information

The Kuwait eVisa is an online visa, introduced in 2016, which allows eligible citizens to travel to Kuwait for a short stay for tourism purposes.

The government of Kuwait implemented the Kuwait eVisa application to facilitate the visa application process for a Kuwait tourist visa, eliminating the need to apply from an embassy or consulate.

The Kuwait eVisa online is a single entry visa which allows a consecutive stay of ninety (90) days in the country and has a validity period of thirty (30) days to enter Kuwait from the moment of approval.

Eligible citizens can submit a simple Kuwait visa application online, which only takes minutes to complete. Applicants are required to fill in personal and passport information and travel details, and answer some security questions to receive an approved eVisa Kuwait via email.

The standard processing time for the Kuwait online visa is between 1-3 business days. Applicants are advised to apply for the Kuwait visa online at least 3 business days before the intended date of entry to Kuwait.

Foreign nationals traveling to Kuwait for purposes other than tourism, such as to work or study, are required to apply for a visa for Kuwait from a Kuwaiti Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence.
