The biggest advantage of holding a Jordan Pass is that you gain expedited access to the country’s most important and popular tourist sites and avoid the need to wait in line to buy a ticket on entry.
It also saves visitors money, as it is much better value to buy the Pass than to purchase tickets for each location individually.
Some of these attractions include:
- Ajloun Castle
- Al-Hamimah
- Amman Citadel
- Burnt Palace, Madaba
- Jerash
- Jordan Archaeological Museum
- Karak Castle
- Lowest Place on Earth Museum
- Museum of Popular Traditions, Amman
- Petra
- Qasr Al-Azraq
- Quseir Amra
- Roman Theatre, Amman
- Umm Ar-Rasas
- Umm Qays
- Wadi Rum
A Jordan Pass for Indians allows a single entry to most tourist sites on the list. However, it permits either 1, 2, or 3 entries to the historic carved city of Petra on consecutive days if the holder visits the sacred site between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm. If an Indian visitor wishes to visit Petra by night, they need to pay an extra fee.
Additionally, holders of a Jordan Pass are able to download a number of free tourist brochures detailing recommended itineraries and travel tips for visiting the country’s attractions.
