Pre-Arrival Registration (PAR) for Hong Kong is an electronic travel authorization system that allows certain residents of Taiwan to enter the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
Each PAR is valid for 2 months, starting from the date of approval. It grants the holder 2 entries to Hong Kong, for a maximum stay of 30 days each time.
Nationals of Taiwan, also known as the Republic of China (ROC), may visit the HKSAR with a PAR if they meet certain requirements.
A Hong Kong Pre-Arrival Registration for Taiwan Residents can be completed via an online form, which is quick and simple to fill out.
An approved PAR is sent to the applicant via email.
Taiwanese nationals who are not residents of Taiwan or do not have right of abode must instead visit a Chinese diplomatic mission or Hong Kong embassy in another country to apply for a passport-like Chinese Travel Document and an HKSAR Entry Permit.
